Despite spending a large part of his life broadcasting on rugby and golf for the BBC, Brian has always had Partick Thistle as his first sporting love. When Brian was in his early teens, his father was a gatekeeper on matchdays at Firhill. Brian would find the gate where his father was working, and jump the turnstile to get to see the Jags - for free!
Brian has now decided to "give something back" to Partick Thistle, and will be working with the other Directors to help drive the Club to bigger and better things.
Brian has now retired from broadcasting, but still has business interests in network marketing. He is also a stalwart of the after-dinner speaking circuit, and spends some time fundraising for the Glasgow-based cancer charity The Friends of the Beatson.
