Greig Brown is Europa’s chief executive and joined the business at the beginning of November 2008. Before that he was the managing director of EMCOR Facilities Services.
Greig has followed a very similar path to Billy Allan, chairman of Europa.
He started out as an apprentice with Stiell, advancing his career via an engineering development programme and qualifying as a building services engineer.
He then fulfilled key roles in project management, commercial management and business development and was pivotal to the transformation of the company from an M&E operation into an integrated FM business.
In 1999 he was appointed account director and played a key role in the continued growth of Stiell, particularly in the corporate sector.
Greig went on to become operations director and then managing director of the corporate business unit within Alfred McAlpine Business Services (AMBS).
In 2005 he was appointed executive director with main board responsibility for growth and operations for the FM business across the UK and Ireland, before leaving to join EMCOR in 2007.
Greig is married with three young sons and away from work he is very keen on all sports, particularly golf and football, and likes to spend as much time as possible with his family.
