Partick Thistle 1, Dundee 1

A Kevin McKinlay goal 9 minutes from time rescued a point for Thistle in a fixture that had appeared to be drifting away from Thistle.

Thistle started by the far the better of the two teams and Kris Doolan tested Robert Douglas with a low shot in the 18th minute.

It was Dundee though that opened the scoring when Colin McMenamin netted with a low shot past Jonny Tuffey in the 37th minute.

Dundee defended stoutly in the second half and for long spells Thistle didn't look like scoring. With 9 minutes remaining, however, Thistle had an equaliser. Simon Storey picked out sub Kevin McKinlay (right) at the back post and his downward header beat Douglas.

Both sides threw men forward in the time remaining but neither side were able to find a winning goal.
