Partick Thistle FC piloted the first Full Day Event in Scotland for "Show Racism The Red Card" last week. Over 120 children from 6 schools took part in the event held at Firhill stadium.
The children were split into 3 groups to take part in workshops.
The workshops were taken by ex-footballers Jim Duffy, Derek Ferguson and Gary McKay, after the workshops, the children met the full First Team Squad for a signing session then a Q. and A. led by Thistle Assistant Manager Gerry Britton, and questions were answered by club captain Alan Archibald, Pedram Ardalany and ever-erudite Robert Reid.
And of course, no kids' event would be complete without the presence of our very own Pee Tee, pictured here straining his wings with so many requests for autographs from excited boys and girls.
Partick Thistle would like to take this opportunity to remind our fans if they see or hear any racist abuse at a game, please report it to the police or a nearby steward.
