We are pleased to be able to announce that Thistle today have signed former Queen of the South and Stirling Albion player Scott Robertson.
Scott, who can play both in midfield at the back, has signed a contract that will keep him at Firhill until the end of the season.
Said manager Jackie McNamara;
“He is a great addition to our squad. He can play at centre half and in centre midfield. He has a big physical presence and his addition to the squad increases the options that we have open to us.”
Twenty three year old Scott started his career with Queen of the South and during his time at Palmerston Park featured as a late substitute in the 2008 Scottish Cup Final with Rangers.
Scott moved to Stirling Albion in time for the start of the 2009-2010 season and in his two seasons with Stirling made 72 appearances and scored 9 goals.
Most recently Scott had a brief spell in Iceland with Fram Reykjavik.
