As you may have read in our report of Tuesday night’s reserve game with Queen of the South, Craig Dargo featured in that fixture as a trialist. Craig played the first 60 minutes of the game, setting up the Thistle goal as well as hitting the post himself.
As manager Jackie McNamara hinted on Tuesday, Thistle have today tied up Dargo on a short term contract that will keep him at the Club until the turn of the year.
Craig started his career with Raith Rovers and has also played with Kilmarnock, Inverness Caledonian Thistle and, most recently, St Mirren. Craig’s career stats show him closing in on his 400th senior appearance and a century of goals. It is hoped that he will be able to hit both landmarks during his spell here at Firhill.
