What is it to be a Thistle fan? We must all have wondered it at one point or another. For some it’s having a team to identify with, to follow through thick and thin, good times and bad. For others it is being part of a community, all with one aim, to see their team win. But for many it is simply being a dedicated and passionate fan of the best football club in the world.

This season has proved the commitment of our fans and special afternoons like the victories over Aberdeen and Hibs at home, or the fantastic travelling support of more than 1,000 at Kilmarnock and Hearts, are the evidence.

This year survival was the target and, with your help, we achieved it.

There’s no doubt it will once again be a challenge this season, in such a competitive league there really are no easy games. This year survival was the target and, with your help, we achieved it. Who knows what next year will bring but with your support the targets can certainly be set higher than just staying in the league.

In order to achieve these ambitions we once again need your help. Although the new season may seem like a long way off, in order to give Archie the support he deserves and maximise his budget in the crucial early stages of the transfer market, we need as many of you as possible to sign up now.

It has been an amazing season, of that there is no doubt, but it has also been an education. An education for our young players and management staff but also an education for those behind the scenes at the club.

We’ve learnt from the experience and want to improve the match day experience for everyone who comes to Firhill. This includes improving the catering, the stewarding, the stands and the disabled facilities. That’s without mentioning the playing staff where our main concern is making sure that Alan Archibald has all the budget that he needs to, not only secure Thistle’s position in the Premiership, but build on what has already been achieved. However all of this needs investment.

To achieve the ambitious goals that we have set for ourselves it is necessary to modestly increase the overall price of the season ticket for next season.

Despite the price increase our season ticket packages are still among the best value in the league and, by buying yours now, you will essentially be receiving five games for free. That doesn't include our unique Kids Go Free scheme that allows under 16s free entrance to Firhill for all SPFL Premiership games.

It’s been a very special two years and now we need you to help us make it another spectacular season..
