Over the course of the next couple of weeks we are going to get very familiar with Ross County and their Victoria Park home ground. On successive weekends we take the road and the miles north to Dingwall. Next Sunday it is the ALBA Challenge Cup Semi-Final but tomorrow we travel to Dingwall in the search not of a place in a cup final but for three points.
When manager Ian McCall spoke to ptfc.co.uk he was abundantly clear that focus tomorrow is on the league fixture and nothing other than the league fixture.

“The semi-final next week is an important game and one that we will look forward but we are occupying ourselves solely at the moment on trying to get three league points, something that we are desperate to for. It is still, of course, very early on in the season but time moves quickly in football and we need to get some more points on the board and start climbing the league table sooner rather than later.”
Thistle will be making the trip to Dingwall with virtually, but not quite, a full squad to select from.
“The good news is that Alan Archibald will be back for this one and there is a very good chance that he will play. David Rowson, however, hasn’t recovered from the injury that saw him come off against Dunfermline last week and won’t make the trip. Meantime Ryan MacBeth will see a specialist on Monday as we attempt to get to the bottom of his injury problems.”
“Coming into the squad will be Stuart Bannigan, who was absolutely outstanding for the reserves against Queen’s Park on Monday night, and Kieran Burns.”
