Thistle were made to wait a week for their opening game of the 2020 season as their game against Motherwell was postponed due to travel safety concerns but the Jags can now look forward to a home fixture against Forfar Farmington this Sunday on matchday two of the SWPL Cup.
Storm Ciara had a strong effect on matchday one of the competition as five of the eight opening day fixtures were called off but the other game in our group was one of the ones which did go ahead and Forfar Farmington were able to beat Kilmarnock 2-0, perching themselves at the top of the table as things stand.
Now, the SWPL 1 side travel to Petershill Park to take on PTWFC with kick-off at 12pm this Sunday, the 16th February.
