Everyone at Firhill offers Declan a warm welcome to the club.
Thistle manager, Ian McCall, said:
“I am delighted that we have secured Declan for this coming season. I must say a big thanks to Micky Mellon and Tony Asghar at Dundee United. They saw our club as the best place for Declan to develop despite considerable interest from other clubs, including many in the division above.
“Declan brings a different skillset to our midfield and I wish him all the very best at Firhill.”
We’ll have an exclusive chat with Declan on Jagzone tomorrow, after he has joined up with the Thistle squad.
