Partick Thistle Football Club today announced that Director Billy Allan has retired from the Board after almost eight years at the club.
Chairman David Beattie, thanking him for his service to the Jags, said:
“Billy has played a significant role since he joined the club in 2009. We are in an entirely different place today from then and that’s in no small part due to Billy’s financial acumen and advice over the years. We are sorry to see him go but we wish him all the best for the future.”
Billy Allan added:
“Although I am retiring to focus on my business interests, I will remain a shareholder and passionate Partick Thistle fan and I wish the team continued success for the rest of this season and beyond.”
The club plans to recruit another Director although it’s unlikely he or she will be in place until the start of next season.
