On this day 100 years ago, Partick Thistle’s class of 1920/21 were preparing for their opening tie of that season’s Scottish Cup, which would take place the following day at Easter Road.
The rest, as they say, is history! And as part of the club’s celebrations of our prized Scottish Cup success 100 years ago, we will this Friday kick off a series of “On This Day” content illustrating our marathon journey to the final.
Look out for match summaries, newspaper reports and historical photographs from throughout our 1921 cup run, when we share these on ptfc.co.uk and across our social media channels from tomorrow.
With 11 ties in just over 10 weeks there’s a lot to pack in, and the final chapter isn’t bad at all – enjoy!
