Partick Thistle are the Scottish League One Champions. 

Graham is booked for falling over at the edge of the Falkirk box. He didn't look to have the energy to run any further. He has been outstanding this evening. 

Nearly some extra icing on the cake. Graham sends Cardle clear but he shoots wide. 

Brownlie looks to have picked up a knock. He is limping but able to carry on. 

Sneddon is able to watch an Alston shot go wide of his right hand post. 

Graham tries to curl a shot beyond the reach of Mutch but the Falkirk keeper makes a routine save. No sixth goal for Thistle. 

Alston's free kick strikes the Thistle wall before Gomis shoots way over the bar. 

Falkirk have a free kick a yard outside the Thistle box. 

This is an absolute joy. Thistle carve open the Falkirk defence once more. Penrice is ubnucky not to score himself, Mutch blocking on the line, but Cardle is on hand to knock the ball home. Every single Thistle player rushes to the Jackie Husband Stand corner flag at the south end including Jamie Sneddon. Can't figure out the attraction of that corner of Firhill!

Williamson comes forward down the right and crosses for Rudden who gets under the ball and heads over and wide. 

Tiffoney weaves way into the box and Thistle look set for a fifth but he goes to groud. There's no penalty and Thistle have to settle for a corner kick. 

Thistle sweep forward and Rudden squares for Graham to net his second of the evening. The champagne is surely chilling nicely now. 

Tiffoney takes advantage of some slack defending and Mutch is required to block with his legs. 

Mutch has to come out his boc to clear a Penrice pass looking for the run of Tiffoney. 

Sammon gets the better of Bell but his final ball is poor and Sneddon gathers. 

Morrison tries a long range effort that Sneddon has to scramble across to save and prevent from going behind for a corner. 

Tiffoney tries to break as the corner is cleared and Thistle have to settle for a free kick inside their own penalty box. Sneddon looks in no hurry to take it. 

Sneddon gets a touch to a Fotheringham header to take the ball over the bar. 

Williamson does well to prevent the ball going out for a corner. 

Neat play from Penrice sets up Tiffoney for a shot that is blocked before Graham angles an effort wide of right hand post. 

The opening 10 minutes of this half will be important for Thistle to give Falkirk nothing to get hold of. Morrison does have a shot from outside the box but it rises over the Thistle crossbar. 

Thistle get things back underway

That wasn't too bad an opening 45 minutes from Thistle!

Goals from Rudden, Tiffoney and Graham have Thistle three to the good. 

The job isn't quite done yet but the title is now just 45 minutes of football away. 

Thistle are close to a 4th goal as Mutch produces a fine stop to keep out Penrice's low left drive. 

Falkirk nearly pull one back as Morrison glances a header just wide of Sneddon's left hand post. 

Alston's long range effort is deflected wide for a corner. 

It's a wonder strike from Graham who thunders home from outside the box to give Thistle a three goal advantage. 

Morrison involved again for Falkirk shifting the ball to Alston to his right but he sends a shot from distance high over the Thistle crossbar. 

Morrison looks Falkirk's most dangerous player and he has the Thistle defence under a bit of pressure again but he lacks support. 

Penrice has the ball in the net but the flag goes up for offside halting further Thistle celebrations. 

Mutch gets a strong fist to Bannigan's free kick to get the ball clear. 

Falkirk make a complete mess of the corner and Thistle break and win a free kick wide on the right as Rudden is fouled. 

Falkirk don't clear a Penrice corner and Tiffoney  couyld hardly catch his shot any cleaner as Thistle double their lead. 

Thistle have the breakthrough. Williamson's left foot cross from the right finds the head of Rudden and in turn his downward header finds the net. 

There is a chance for Falkirk when the ball falls nicely for Morrison inside the box but he screws his shot wide. 

A Graham effort loops over the bar as Thistle continue on the front foot looking for that vital opening goal. 

Thistle are patient near the edge of the Falkirk box probing for a shooting chance. Tiffoney is the man to finally have a go but his sbhot goes high over the bar. 

Another opportunity for Thistle. This time Tiffoney gets the ball on the left side of the Falkirk box but his shot lacks power and is saved. 

Penrice cuts in from the right and gets the ball onto his left foot. Mutch does well to beat his shot away with no Thistle player able to get to the rebound. 

Mutch makes a confident catch to claim Penrice's corner. 

Foster's cross is cleared at the back post but Thistle pick up the ball again and Bannigan delivers a ball into the box that Mutch just gets ahead of Graham. 

Bannigan takes the free kick and delivers it into a good area but nobody reads it and it goes out for a goal kick. 

Rudden is fouled by Neilson and it's is Thistle turn to have a free kick near the edge of the opposition box. 

Alston takes the free kick but Thistle clear and try and break quickly. 

Morrison is fouled and Falkirk will have a free kick near the left edge of the Thistle box. 

Tiffoney crosses from the left but Mutch is off his line to claim the ball. 

Foster dives into a challenge inside the Thistle box and he will be glad to have made good clean contact with the ball. 

The corner is worked shirt to Bannigan at the corner of the box. Sammon clears but Penrice gathers  loose ball and Mutch has to dive low to his left to save. 

It's Rudden's pace at the other end that earns Thistle the game's first corner. 

Morrison's pace means that Brownlie has to be sharp to nudge the ball away from home and out for a throw,

It's been a hectic, untidy opening few minutes. Signs of Thistle beginning to settle. 

Falkirk kick the game off. Thistle will be shooting towards the John Lambie Stand in the opening 45 minutes. 

April has been an incredible month of football and it reaches its conclusion tonight with the title arithmetic very simple for Thistle. A Thistle win and the Championship is Thistle's. 

The arithmetic might be simple but actually achieving the three points is likely to be anything but with Thistle having faced a gruelling 90 minutes at Cove on Tuesday while Falkirk sat idle. 

Ian McCall's starting eleven shows three changes from the side that started on Tuesday. 

In come Ryan Williamson, James Penrice and Stuart Bannigan. 

Shea Gordon, Ciaran McKenna and Connor Murray are the trio that drop to the bench to make way for them. 

Kick-off is now just a little over 20 minutes away and nervous excitement is the prominent emotion.
