Everyone at Partick Thistle would like to offer our very best wishes to Bertie Auld, our popular former manager, who it was confirmed today is suffering with Dementia.
Bertie enjoyed two spells as manager at Firhill – from 1974 to 1980 and again in 1986 – and remains a much loved figure by so many connected to the club.
We share the message that Bertie’s family would like to thank everyone for their support and that they request privacy during this difficult time.
We pass on the love and best wishes of all Thistle fans to Bertie and his family, who can count on our support throughout this hugely challenging time.
