As an exciting cinch Championship campaign approaches, we have been preparing to welcome as many of the red and yellow army to Firhill as possible.
We’ve had three restricted attendance fixtures to date (our friendly against Rangers and our Premier Sports Cup ties against Dunfermline Athletic and Dumbarton). For each of these games we have prepared ticket sales and seating plans in a slightly different way as we try to find working processes that allow the supporter experience to be as stress-free as possible. We thank all Thistle fans for their patience and understanding over the course of the last three games.
As we approach our opening league match against Queen of the South on Saturday 31st July, we have been working to schedule seating for a fixture when season tickets will be used for the first time.
With one metre social distancing still in place this unfortunately means that not every season ticket holder will be able to sit in their season ticket purchased seat. Our top priority for our seating plan for this fixture is to keep all supporters as close to their season ticket seat as possible, but there will be a limited number of instances where this may not be possible.
Season Ticket Entry
Entry to our fixture against Queen of the South will be through season tickets. Supporters can either scan their physical card at the turnstile or use the PTFC ticketing app to access the ground.
The office team are in the final stages of distributing the physical season ticket cards to season ticket holders. All cards will be sent to supporters by Tuesday 27th July. If you have not received your season ticket card on Tuesday 27th July, please contact the ticket office on . If there are any errors on your season ticket, for example a name change or package type (ie an adult ticket instead of a concession) please also contact the ticket office on
Sitting in groups
Please read this section carefully as it explains how you have the option to sit next to more of your family and friends than in previous restricted attendance games, should they also be season ticket holders.
The latest guidance allows groups of up to 15 to sit together, with a 1 metre gap between each group.
We already have 800 of our season ticket holders designated in bubbles between 2 and 5 supporters. These linked accounts would be the default grouping when we set the seating schedule for the game.
If you would like to be seated with more supporters (up to a maximum of 15) please inform us by emailing or leaving a message on the office answerphone by 9am on Monday 26th July.
To add supporters we would need the name of the supporter and their season ticket seat number. If the season ticket seat number is not known, please provide their address.
These additions will be implemented only on our seating template for this fixture, ticketing site accounts will not be linked or bubbled together.
Seating plan
All supporters will receive an email from Thursday 29th July detailing them of their seat for the fixture against Queen of the South. For the majority of season ticket holders, this will be confirmation that their season ticket seat can be used, but for a number of Thistle fans this will not be possible.
If you, or your seating group, don’t receive an email by 10am on Saturday 31st July, please get in touch with the ticket office on . Seating plans will be available around Firhill on the day of the game and our matchday stewards will be able to assist and guide you to your seat.
If you have any enquiries around your seat for this fixture, or any mobility requirements, please contact us as early as possible on
Please sit in the seat number provided for this fixture. This will allow us to comply with social distancing requirements as well as satisfying track and trace requirements as part of our licence to welcome supporters at Firhill.
Seating templates will be available around Firhill on the day of the game.
On matchday, if you require any assistance, please contact your nearest steward who will be able to assist.
Entry Time Slots
Entry Time Slots will be in operation for this fixture. Time slots will be announced and shared through club channels on Thursday 29th July at the latest.
We know that time slots for entry are unpopular with supporters but they are another condition of our licence to welcome supporters back to Firhill at this time.
We thank all Thistle fans for their co-operation and support of the club as we welcome fans back to football safely.
Non-Season Ticket Sales
The club will provide an update on any non season-ticket sales purchases for our game against Queen of the South on Monday 26th July.
