Partick Thistle Women’s FC is delighted to confirm that club captain Colette Fleming has signed up for the 2021/22 season.
The midfielder played 10 times for the Jags last term including seven starts in the team’s eight games after the SWPL 2’s return in June. She also managed one goal; a penalty against Boroughmuir Thistle at Lochburn Park.
Fleming signed with the club back in December 2019 and was appointed skipper by Brian Graham ahead of the 2020/21 season.
After agreeing to stay, Colette said:
“I’m delighted to be back for another season. I’m proud to captain this club and lead this group of players. We’re all really excited about what we could achieve this year after such a good season last time out.”
PTWFC manager Brian Graham said:
“Colette is a real leader on and off the park and I’m happy to have our captain back for another season.
“She really drives the tempo up in training and leads by example. She will once again be a really important part of our team”
