Danny Mullen joined Partick Thistle on Thursday 21st July 2022, signing a one-year deal at Firhill.
The 27-year-old striker arrived in Maryhill having left Dundee earlier in the summer following two seasons at Dens Park during which time he scored 12 league goals in 50 appearances for the Dee.
Mullen started his senior career with Livingston, making his debut in 2012, going on to score 40 goals for the Lions before moving on to St. Mirren in late 2017.
The ex-Aberdeen youth player scored eight goals in his first full season as a Buddie as the Paisley side were promoted to the Premiership. The following season he notched seven goals with the most important of those coming in a play-off game against Dundee United as he netted an equaliser for St. Mirren after the Tangerines had taken the lead.
He moved on to Dundee in 2020 and was on the scoresheet in the play-offs again, this time against Kilmarnock as James McPake’s side earned promotion at Rugby Park.
During 21/22, Mullen missed some time at the start of the campaign through injury but returned to good effect, scoring seven goals in 27 games after making his comeback before departing the City of Discovery at the end of his contract.
