The Partick Thistle Charitable Trust are recruiting for a Facility Supervisor.
Based at Petershill Sports Centre & Springburn Synthetic Pitch, this full time, permanent role plays a key role in the running of the Charitable Trust facilities. These facilities play a central role in the Trust’s ability to respond to community needs. The provision of high-quality facilities is essential to the success of the Trust, and they are looking for an exceptional candidate to work with them to achieve their goals.

38 hours per week
£21,000 – £24,000 per year

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced, forward-thinking individual to join our team. You will be suitable qualified and experienced in the sport and leisure industry to assist the Trust Managers in delivering a high-quality provision to all centre users.
Candidates will be capable of motivating and leading by example, which will play a key role in the management of the organisation. Working a shift pattern which operates 5 days over 7, covering evenings and weekends.
Shift Pattern:
Monday: OFF, Tuesday: OFF, Wednesday: 4pm – 10pm, Thursday: 4pm – 10pm, Friday 4pm – 10pm, Saturday: 8am – 6pm, Sunday: 8am – 6pm
Match Days:
You will be required to be the main point of contact on the day for clubs who will be using the facility on match days, ensuring that you are there to meet their needs and requests. The main objective of match days is to ensure smooth running of matches and to assist with both home and visiting teams, scouts, and match officials.
Main duties on match days will include:Meet and greet home and visiting teams, scouts, and match officials
• Arrange for any refreshments for teams, scouts, and match officials during their visit
• Allocate changing rooms for teams and match officials, and ensure changing rooms are clean and tidy
• Assume control on behalf of the Trust for spectator, player and official safety
• Attend any pre-match operation meetings to ensure smooth running on match days
Other duties of the role outside of match days include ensuring all areas within the facility, general grounds, pitches and play areas are maintained to a safe condition to a high standard. The role will also carry out a range of other general maintenance tasks as required such as transporting equipment and conducting general health & safety checks within facilities.
Applicants should have a good general standard of education, including literacy and numeracy, and have experience carrying out minor repairs and general maintenance using relevant tools and equipment.
