And here’s today’s big news from Firhill – I’ve signed a new deal with Thistle to that keeps me here for as long as I want to be here! And it’s my birthday!
Yes. That’s right, I’m here to stay, lovely fans, 100% committed to the Jags… I didn’t need to be asked twice to be Partick Thistle’s forever mascot.
Since I arrived back in 2015, I have received the best possible reaction. My pretty mono-browed face even featured in TIME Magazine, CNN, Fox News, The Guardian, The Times, 11freunde and the BBC. You Jags’ fans have welcomed me with open arms, always asking for selfies and posting messages on my Twitter and Facebook- it’s been great and really helped when I felt homesick.
I’ve fallen head over heels for everything about the place. Not only my beloved Partick Thistle, but also Glasgow. It’s a fantastic city and not only is Maryhill wonderful but the people are even better!
So now I’ve announced my long term plans to stay, it’s time to blow out my candles and share my birthday cake with my pals at the club. Time to enjoy my last few weeks’ rest before the new season kicks off.
I’ll see you all at the first game and, if you haven’t already, make sure to get your season ticket so we can meet up for some more selfies at Firhill! 2017/18 season tickets are now on sale.
