We hosted our first ever eSports tournament at Firhill yesterday afternoon as we looked to find two winners to represent the club at the eScottish Football Cup at Hampden in May.
An intense afternoon of gaming in the Aitken Suite saw 20 Thistle supporters go head to head as they looked to come out on top to proudly represent the club at Hampden next Month.
With tournaments running in both Kick-Off and Ultimate Team modes, it proved to be nervy as both competitions went right to the wire with the Kick-Off tournament going all the way to penalties to decide our winner.
After a long afternoon of competing we can confirm that the Partick Thistle players for the eScottish Football Cup 2023 are:
Gordon Coyne (Kick Off)
Kieran Findlay (Ultimate Team)
Our reserve will be Kayden Anderson.
Gordon, Kieran and Kayden will be invited to Firhill ahead of the eScottish Football Cup to receive their special PTFC eSports top courtesy of Greaves Sports and O’Neills which they will wear when competing on the 20th and 21st May at Hampden Park in Glasgow.
