It is with enormous pleasure that Partick Thistle Women’s FC can confirm that midfielder Amy Bulloch has agreed to remain with the Club for the forthcoming 2023-2024 season.
Amy first appeared in a Partick Thistle jersey in November 2020 as a trialist in a SWPL2 fixture against Stirling University, Amy marking her debut with a spectacular goal that would later be voted the SWF Goal of the Season.
After that impressive start, Amy quickly became a fully fledged Partick Thistle player and made 12 appearances in her first season with the Club.
Elevated to the SWPL1 at the last minute before the start of the 2021-2022 season Thistle quickly demonstrated that they were there to do anything but make up the numbers and Amy had a pivotal role to play in that success making 28 appearances, scoring three times.
It was a similar story last season with Amy, whose Partick Thistle career now stands at 72 appearances and five goals, adding steel, drive and a set piece threat from her position in the Thistle midfield.
Said Thistle manager Brian Graham: “I’m delighted to have Amy back for next season. She is a player of great technical ability and she’s shown that throughout her time here so far. There aren’t many players in the league like her.
“She had a great end to the season which saw her win the Player of the Month award for April so I’m looking forward to watching her carry that into next season”
Amy Bulloch said: “I love being at this club so I’m really happy to be back for another season.
“We achieved a lot last season and that makes me hungry for more, I feel what we did last season is only the start of what we can do as a team. It’s an exciting time to be at the club.
“I just need to work hard over the summer and into pre-season now and i’ll be ready to go for next season to see what we can do together”
