Every sponsor which supports Partick Thistle Football Club is greatly appreciated by everyone at Firhill but there are few who have done more for the club than Just Employment Law over the past decade which is why we would like to say a massive thank you to them as their front-of-shirt sponsorship deal comes to an end in line with the conclusion of the 2022/23 campaign.
The locally headquartered employment law specialists first became involved with Thistle back in 2012 before becoming the club’s principal sponsor during the 2017/18 season.
The Just Employment Law logo has been proudly displayed on the front of the Thistle kit for six consecutive seasons now, including the current term, with this backing provided by JEL being crucial to everything the club has done over that time period.
Our partnership has gone beyond the front of our shirt too with Purple Thistle Day and a special purple goalkeeper kit organised in conjunction with JEL to support Pancreatic Cancer Action Scotland, helping raise tens of thousands of pounds for the charity.
Although their front-of-shirt sponsorship will come to an end, Just Employment Law will continue to sponsor the club through a new sponsorship package including advertising around Firhill.
Partick Thistle Chief Executive Gerry Britton said: “The support of Just Employment Law has been a very real and reassuring constant for Partick Thistle FC over the past decade, especially since they became the men’s team’s principal sponsor. David McCrae and his staff have been fully committed and very active partners of the club and the support of JEL during the Covid pandemic in particular, when they made a number of important additional gestures, was a timely boost during such a difficult period.
“David won’t thank me for singling him out but he, alongside another Just Employment Law partner, David Reid has been a regular presence not only at games but also other club events and we can’t thank them enough – we know the two David’s and their colleagues will continue to visit Firhill in the future, a warm welcome is always ensured for all at JEL.”
