Every summer, the club is extremely grateful for the support of a number of volunteers to help prepare the stadium for the following season.
This summer is no different and so today we are launching our annual volunteer appeal for Thistle supporters and members of the local community to help with some of the small but very important touches needed around the Wyre Stadium at Firhill.
Tasks include painting and cleaning, with equipment supplied, while all volunteers will also be provided with food and drinks while on site.
We are hoping to accommodate willing volunteers from 10am until 4pm on weekdays from Monday 3 July.
If you may be able to help, please contact with your name, contact details and availability as soon as possible.
One of our longstanding volunteers is Thistle supporter and former board member of The Jags Foundation, Allan McGraw, who has been helping the club with office duties since last season.
Describing his volunteering experience with the club, Allan said: “I’ve loved every minute of my time volunteering with Partick Thistle, so much so that I’ve offered my services again for the season ahead.
“The fact that you can do something to help the club you love is rewarding enough, but meeting and engaging with fellow fans during the course of volunteering is special too. Then there is the satisfaction that every time you successfully complete a task you know it is having a positive impact on the overall wellbeing of the club.
“Volunteering at Partick Thistle is one of the best things I’ve ever done – I couldn’t recommend it highly enough.”
