It's a point apiece after the teams battle out a 1-1 draw.
Diack's cross from the corner of the box is too deep and Airdrie have a goal kick.
Muirhead demands a third Thistle corner as his header from Stanway's corner goes wide of goal. Play restarts with a goal kick.
Crowd: 2,522.
Stanway's cut back is just behind Alston.
A shot goes wide of the Thistle goal following the second Airdrie corner and Thistle can finally make the changes that they have been trying to make for some time.
Before the corner can be taken Fitzpatrick receives some treatment. It doesn't looks as if he will be able to continue.
Neilson clears a Frizzell cross at the expense of a corner.
Thistle go wide the free kick but can't create an opening.
Thistle win a free kick deep inside the Airdrie half.
A header from O'Connor clears the Thistle crossbar as Sneddon gets set to take the goal kick Fitzpatrick comes back on.
With Fitzpatrick receiving treatment off the pitch Thistle are down to ten men at present.
Lawless is penalised for a foul on Hancock. Just for a second it looks as if the referee might be going towards his pocket for what have been a second yellow card.
The Lawless corner is cleared. It falls to Bannigan near the corner of the box but there is no repeat of his Dingwall goal last weekend.
McMillan and Lawless link up down the right but Lawless strays offside.
Frizzell sends a shot over the Thistle crossbar.
Thistle are getting set to make a change. Meantime a foul on Adeloye earns Thistle a free kick inside the Airdrie half.
Adeloye holds the ball up before finding Lawless to his right. Lawless in turn clips a pass into the path of McMillan who finds the side netting with his cross.
Back underway. No changes at the break from either team.
An entertaining first half comes to an end with the scores tied at 1-1. Adeloye equalising just five minutes after Watson's opener for the home side.
Thistle aren't behind for long. It's good footwork from Adeloye inside the box that creates the chance for him to slam McMillan's pass low into the corner of the net.
Lawless picks up Adeloye's pass, cuts inside but sees his shot well saved by Rae.
Thistle can't deal with the Airdrie corner. The ball is cleared off the line but Watson is able to bundle the ball home from close range. It's a poor, poor goal for Thistle to lose.
Thistle are a little casual on the ball at the back but Neilson is fouled earning Thistle a free kick.
Lawless has the ball on the Airdrie bye-line but his low cross is blocked.
A cross is fizzed over from the Airdrie left and it takes a great clearance from Neilson to prevent a clear Airdrie chance in front of the Thistle goal.
Todorov heads over as Airdrie enjoy their best spell in the game up to this point.
A few heavy challenges come in inside the Thistle half before the referee stops play for a Thistle free kick.
It's still Thistle on top but Airdrie are getting more into the game and causing Thistle problems.
Not often you see a player booked for a foul on the goalkeeper on the touchline. McInroy is certainly late on Rae as he attempts to clear the ball.
Milne and Adeloye link up well again but neither can manage to find room for a shot and Airdrie clear.
Fitzpatrick and Lawless try and work a corner together but the flag goes up for offside.
It's a poor corner though and Airdrie nearly catch Thistle on the counter attack. Sneddon has to come out his box to clear.
It's Milne with the pass to the feet of Adeloye at the edge of the box and Rae getsv just enough of a touch to the shot to take it past for a corner.
It's great play from Adeloye to set up an opening for Fitzpatrick but Rae makes a timely intervention at the very edge of his box.
First effort on goal as Adeloye hooks a shot on the turn wide of goal. Thistle definitely on top in the early stages of the game.
No chances as yet but it's been a bright positive start from Thistle. Bulk of the game so far being played in the Airdrie half.
Thistle kick the game off and are shooting towards the 'Christie Elliott' end in the first half.
There is just one change from the side that dumped Ross County out of the Scottish Cup in such emphatic style last weekend.
Unfortunately illness keeps captain Brian Graham out of the game with Aaron Muirhead taking the captain's armband in his absence.
Tomi Adeloye gets the nod to start up front in place of Graham.
Cup-tied for last week's game, Luke McBeth and Daniel O'Reilly are available for this one and will start the afternoon on the substitute bench.
