It takes a good stop from Sneddon to keep the score at 3-0.
Minimum of 3 minutes additional time.
Thistle neglect to mark Watt at a free kick and he bullets home a header to complete his hat-trick.
That will likely seal the win for the home side. Watt shows good footwork at the edge of the box before drilling low past Sneddon.
Walton sticks out a foot to clear a drilled Fitzpatrick cross.
The Lawless corner is cleared.
Close. Lawless finds McMillan who shot is saved at his post by Walton.
Graham flicks the ball onto Diack who is caught fractionally offside.
Fitzpatrick is able to drag the ball onto his left foot inside the box but off balance shoots wide. A better option might have been a cross.
Fotheringham's shot on the turn just clears Sneddon's crossbar.
McMann's shot from the right hand corner of the box goes wide of Sneddon's left hand post.
A simple ball over the top of the Thistle defence gives Moult a great chance but he blazes over the bar and Thistle remain in this game.
Nobody can get a touch to Fitzpatrick's corner though Thistle have a throw on the far side. Gallagher is going to need more treatment before that throw can be taken.

Fotheringham flashes a shot across the face of the Thistle goal and wide.

Thistle trail at the break. There were positive signs as half-time neared, Fitzpatrick and Lawless coming close, but United were much the better side in the first half and improvement will be needed from Thistle in the second 45 minutes.

Great chance for Fitzpatrick who is inches too high with a drive from outside the box.
Muirhead tries to get on the end of Lawless' corner but it is headed clear.
Thistle break quickly from the United corner but McMillan's cross is blocked at the expense of a throw.
It's weak defending that allows Fotheringham to wriggle his way towards the Thistle goal but his shot is wide of target.
Fitzpatrick's second corner goes to the front post where it is headed clear.
Best, only, chance for Thistle so far. McMillan passes inside to Lawless whose shot doesn't clear the bar by much.
Fitzpatrick and Lawless work a short corner. When Lawless does deliver a cross it's far too deep.
Stanway turns away from a United player and strides forward towards the edge of the box but he's robbed of the ball before shooting. A little better from Thistle all the same.
Lawless is fouled deep inside the United half and Thistle might have an opportunity to put some pressure on the home side.
Middleton looks for a corner as he hooks a shot wide of Sneddon's right hand post but it is a Thistle goal kick.
Middleton shoots from just outside the Thistle box but it is a comfortable save for Sneddon.
Thistle desperately need to try and get a toe hold in this game but they are seeing precious in the way of possession.
A Moult header from a Middleton cross clears the Thistle crossbar.
Nearly a second for United as Thistle fail to deal with a corner. The ball falls to McMann and he is denied a goal by a last ditch block.
United's early pressure brings them an early goal. Thistle can't clear a cross from the right and when it falls, eventually, to Watt in front of goal he smashes a shot high into the net.
Watt turns and shoots inside the box but his shot doesn't have the power or angle to trouble Sneddon.
Thistle are under early pressure as United try and make a fast start. A break of the ball inside the Thistle box though gives Thistle a goal kick.
Holt makes a dash towards the front post to connect with Middleton's corner but his header slides well wide of goal.
