It's a fantastic shift from Thistle who leave everything out on the pitch. They have to settle though for just a single point but they are leaving the pitch to a warm ovation from the Thistle who appreciate what they have seen from their players today.

Gallagher looks to throw an arm in the direction of Milne but the referee, beside the incident to be fair and much closer than I am, allows play to continue.

It's been a frantic opening but we've had time to draw breath. It looks like a normal back four but with Neilson stepping into midfield to offer extra protection in front of Muirhead and Williams the two centre backs.

Thistle are looking to put a disappointing run of results behind them with victory this afternoon. With the visitors league leaders Dundee United that will be no easy task. 

There are three changes to the side that went down to defeat to Ayr United on Tuesday. 

David Mitchell gets the nod to start in goal this afternoon while Wasiri Williams and Scott Robinson come into the starting eleven as Kerr McInroy and Stuart Bannigan drop to the bench. 

The precise shape of Kris Doolan's starting eleven will take though isn't entirely clear and careful attention will be ;paid to that once the game kicks off.
