After a full 6 minutes of injury time the full-time whistle sounds on a third successive Thistle win and second clean sheet in a row. It's not a vintage performance but an important three points all the same.

Alston loses possession at the edge of the box and Mitchell has to scramble to save a Lawal shot at his right hand post. 

Inside the last 10 minutes. You have a feeling that this could be a long last 10 as Thistle simply can't get hold of the ball despite the man advantage. 

The free kick is cleared but it is an Inverness throw on the opposite side. 

McMillan is penalised for handball and Inverness have a free kick in from the left touchline. 

Samuel finds room for a shot inside the Thistle box but Mitchell is there to save. 

There are heap of Inverness players on the ground inside the Thistle box but Neilson clears

Milne clears as Thistle are starting to invite a little too much pressure. 

Graham gets a slight touch to a Fitzpatrick cross but not enough to trouble Ridgers. 

A Lawal shot doesn't pose Mitchell any problems. 

Milne clears the free kick but Thistle are slow in pushing out.

Inverness are down to ten. Mitchell's quick throw finds Fitzpatrick and his run is halted by Kerr who had been booked on the stroke of half-time. A second yellow means a red. 

Just prior to that Kerr chance McBeth went down injured and he needs some treatment but looks okay to continue. 

Great chance for Kerr but with the whole goal to aim at he fires wide of Mitchell's right hand post. 

Milne makes an important intervention at the edge of the Thistle 6 yard box as things open up for Inverness in front of the Thistle goal.

Fitzpatrick is close again. This time Ridgers beats away his shot. 

Fitzpatrick is inches, if that, away from extending the Thistle lead. After Stanway robs Lawal of the ball it is worked to Fitzpatrick at the left hand side of the box and his low effort is fractionally wide of the far post. 

Graham looks to have recovered and after a shot spell off the pitch is back on. 

Chasing a pass Graham looks to be caught in the face by a clearance and worryingly is knocked to the ground. he's receiving some treatment and is now sitting up. 

The Thistle defence is under pressure until McBeth steps in to clear. 

Back underway. No changes from Thistle. 

Kerr's attempt to win his side a penalty earns him a yellow card. 

Into first half injury time. 

Harper has the ball at the left side of the Thistle box. Not sure if it is a cross or a shot but the ball doesn't go too far wide of Mitchell's left hand post. 

Thistle are in front. A shot is fired in that Ridgers saves but can't hold. It falls to Robinson who drills home. 

Inverness look for a penalty as Mackay goes to ground as he goes into the Thistle box. It looks a good shout from back here but referee Braton waves play on. 

McMillan looks to be limping. 

Even closer for Thistle. Graham sets up Robinson who sees his shot strike the base of the post. 

Closest yet for Thistle. Fitzpatrick's corner goes deep to the back post. Graham heads back towards goal and Inverness struggle to clear. The ball drops to Graham who on the turn sends a shot over the bar. 

Mackay's shot from the edge of the box is straight at Mitchell. 

The ball strikes the Thistle bar following Kerr's corner before Graham is fouled winning Thistle a free kick. By far the closest this game has come to seeing a goal. 

Inverness have a free kick midway inside the Thistle half. It's a poor free kick but Inverness remain on the attack until Mitchell claims a cross. 

Fitzpatrick lifts a cross into the Inverness box. Graham is able to flick his head at the ball but it is as easy save as they come for Ridgers. 

Mackay tries a shot from distance that crawls wide of Mitchell's right hand post. 

McBeth attacks the Lawless corner but the ball is cleared. 

Stanway heads the corner clear. The ball falls to Harper outside the box but his shot doesn't remotely threaten the Thistle goal. 

A Kerr shot is deflected. Just for a second it looks as if it is going in but goes just wide. 

Fitzpatrick takes the free kick himself and it is cleared. Samuel wins Inverness a free kick near the halfway line as they try and launch a counter attack. 

Fitzpatrick earns Thistle a free kick wide on the left. 

If the first few minutes are anything to go by we are in for a scrappy game. 

Thistle kick-off are are shooting towards the John Lambie Stand in the first half. 

Looking to make it three wins on the bounce Kris Doolan makes just one change to his starting eleven. 

Injury rules our Kerr McInroy and in his places comes in Ben Stanway.
