The club has been asked to share information about the funeral of James ‘Jim’ Cowan, the very popular driver of an unofficial Thistle supporters bus for the past two seasons.
Jim became an integral part of the away matchday experience for a coachload (often the lead coach of many coaches) for a committed group of predominantly John Lambie Stand based supporters when travelling to away games. His loss is keenly felt by those fans and will be particularly so next season.
Jim’s funeral will take place at 10am on Tuesday 4th July, at St. Columbkille’s Church Rutherglen and then on to Linn Crematorium and all are welcome to pay their respects.
Everyone at PTFC wishes to send our sincere condolences to Jim’s family and friends as well as the fans affected at this most difficult time. Rest in peace, Jim.
