It was the privilege of the club to accept an invitation by the St Margaret of Scotland Hospice to visit 90-year-old Thistle supporter Reg Morrison.
Our very own number nine Brian Graham represented the club and spent time with Reg last Friday afternoon, sharing many Thistle stories, enjoying a cup of tea and posing for pictures, including with Reg’s 1947/48 season ticket. On behalf of the club, Brian presented Reg with a signed Partick Thistle top from season 2022/23.
We wish to thank firstly Warren Hawke and then the Hospice for setting up the visit and of course a huge thanks to Reg and his son Neil for welcoming Brian, who enjoyed the visit every bit as much as Reg did.
The club have promised to keep in touch with Reg via his son and we have also asked the Hospice not to hesitate if there’s anything we can help them with in the future.
