Clare Docherty joined the club from Kilmarnock Women in 2019 alongside club legends Kim Murphy and Collete Flemming.
Making an immediate impact, Docherty became an immediate fan favourite playing an instrumental part as the club won promotion from SWPL2 in 2021.
A player whose versatility knows no bounds, Docherty’s first few season were spent at the top end of the field before she truly cemented herself as Brian Graham’s go to right back in the 2022/23 season as the club secured a historic top 6 place.
Continuing to grow from strength to strength, Docherty’s leadership and presence is second to none. Someone who truly plays for the badge, she has once again made the left back position herself and has formed one of the best full back partnerships in the league with Emma Lawton.
