Partick Thistle Women’s FC are delighted to confirm that Jordan McLintock has agreed to extend her Partick Thistle career into season 2023-2024.
Jordan made the switch to Thistle from fellow SWPL1 side Motherwell last summer but she already had an association with The Jags having made a couple of substitute appearances during the 2020-2021 season before returning to Motherwell ahead of the start of the following season.
Primarily seen as an attacking player, Jordan demonstrated her versatility by being deployed in a number of different roles last including on one occasion in the heart of the Thistle defence before lining up on the right of defence on a number of ocassions during this pre-season.
In total Jordan made 24 appearances for Thistle last season scoring four times including a hat-trick, the first by a Partick Thistle player in the top flight, against Glasgow Women.
Said manager Brian Graham; “It’s great to have Jordan back for the new season. She is a big personality in the changing room and a player who I know I can trust to play in a number of positions.
“She showed last season with her hat trick she knows the way to goal but she has also shown her creativity in midfield and that she’s willing to work hard for the team no matter where I need to ask her to play.”
