It's far too easy for Hearts as Kingsley advances and stings the hands of Mitchell with a fierce shot. 

Vargas scuffs a shot wide of the Thistle goal. 

It's four now though. The ball is played up to Tagawa and his low shot hits the back of the net. 

Fitzpatrick advances into the box from the left but can do no better than hit the side netting while under pressure. 

Out of nowhere Hearts have a chance of a fourth but Mitchell is able to flop down and aave Boyce's shot from outside the box. 

Thistle try and break from the corner. Adeloye has McInroy over to his right but his run takes him toward two Hearts defenders who crowd him out. 

Very little happening in a game that the home side are coasting to victory in. Ngwenya is on for his Thistle debut and has slotted in at left back with Milne going to the centre of defence. 

Fitzpatrick tries an ambitious effort from fully 30 yards out that trickles through to Clark. Fitzpatrick raises his hand in acknowledgment of his poor execution. 

It's a gift as Muirhead gives the ball to Shankland who races clear and places a low shot past Mitchell. An already bad day just gets worse. 

McInroy sends in a decent cross into the Hearts box but there is nobody there to get on the end of it. 

Thistle get the game back underway. No changes at the break. 

Two goals from corners have Hearts in full control at the break with Thistle struggling to make any impression at all. 

Any respite is short lived as Hearts score from the corner. Offiah's header comes off the underside of the bar and after a quick check across to his assistant Beaton awards the goal. 

Lowry fires over a low cross that Thistle do well to clear. 

A Lowry shot is blocked after the ball is touched to him by McKay. 

McInroy has a shot blocked at the edge of the box before Milne sends a shot over the Hearts crossbar. 

Lowry tries to catch out Mitchell at his near post when the free kick is tapped to him. There's no power in his shot though and Mitchell has an easy save to make. 

Lawless catches McKay and Hearts have a free kick near the left hand corner of the Thistle box. 

Lowry's corner goes to the back post where it is too high for anyone and goes out for a goal kick. There's no real tempo to the game at the moment which is allowing Thistle to see more of the ball, but not high enough up the pitch to threaten.  

Thistle are just starting to see some of the ball inside the Hearts half. With no real intent though with on this occasion Muirhead overhitting a deep cross into the Hearts box. 

Nearly an opportunity for Thistle at the edge of the box but Hearts clear as McInroy and Milne try and link up. . 

Hearts have a complete grip on this game, dominating possession and probing for openings. Thistle are seeing next to nothing of the ball. Certainly nothing inside the Hearts half. It's already looking like a long afternoon for The jags. 

Hearts early pressure brings a reward. Lowry's corner is flicked on and it comes off Graham and into the net. An unfortunate own goal that Graham could do little to avoid. 

Lowry's free kick catches McMillan in the stomach but it is enough to block the free kick. 

Hearts win a free kick within range of the Thistle goal. 

Mitchell gets enough of a hand to Lowry's corner to get the ball clear but Thistle remain under early pressure as the home side open firmly on the front foot. 

Hearts kick-off. Thistle shooting towards the sold out travelling support in the opening 45 minutes. 

Kick-off is approaching ahead of this afternoon's Viaplay Cup tie with Hearts. 

Kris Doolan's starting eleven shows one change from the side that started against Airdrie last weekend. 

In comes a fit again Kerr McInroy and he replaces James Lyon who drops to the bench.
