Ahead of this Sunday’s SWPL fixture against Montrose at Petershill, PTWFC is proud to announce a special matchday charity partnership with CoppaFeel!, the breast cancer charity for young people.
As the UK’s first and only breast cancer charity for young people, CoppaFeel! is on a mission to ensure that all breast cancers are diagnosed as early as possible. Breast cancer is the most common cancer in the UK and yet a quarter of young people aren’t aware they could be affected.
From delivering nearly 400 school talks to sending over one million free text reminders every year, the charity aims to educate, encourage and empower young people to get to know their bodies and check regularly.
And it really works. Users of the charity’s Self-Checkout web app are 78% more likely to check afterwards and 60% of those who check themselves regularly feel confident in noticing a change.

Support CoppaFeel! and fundraiser Jen at Petershill this Sunday
As well as visiting www.coppafeel.org, you can support CoppaFeel! this Sunday by donating to our brilliant bucket collectors outside the ground – they will be clearly visible in CoppaFeel! t-shirts.
The women’s first team will be showing their support by wearing our popular pink and grey away kit which match the colours of CopaFeel!
Our bucket collectors are led by Jen McCall, from Old Kilpatrick, who next month takes on an epic five-day trek through the mountainous terrain of Mont Blanc in the world-famous Chamonix Valley.
Jen is one of around 100 supporters taking on this extreme challenge, including podcaster and 2020’s Queen of the Castle, Giovanna Fletcher, TOWIE star Pete Wicks, and radio host and journalist Anna Whitehouse.
Last year CoppaFeel! raised over £1million across their two treks that took place in Pembrokeshire and the Sahara Desert. This year they are hoping to raise even more to help them towards their mission of ensuring everyone has the best possible chance of surviving breast cancer.
