Thistle defeat Queen's Park in the Scottish Cup for the very first time and will take place in the draw for the next round.
Into whatever additional time the referee decides to play.
The ball is played up to McDonald at the edge of the box with just Ferrie to beat but his shot goes narrowly wide of goal.
Crowd: 2,520.
Man of the Match: Aidan Fitzpatrick.
No great surprise with that. He was outstanding today.
Thomson thumps a shot wide of target.
Thistle elect not to put the free kick direct into the box and are unable to fashion an opportunity for a further goal.
Williamson is fouled and Thistle have a free kick wide on the right in line with the edge of the penalty box.
Adeloye is on the end of a long Sneddon clearance. He is able to lift the ball over Ferrie but that takes the ball away from goal.
Thomas' luck is out as he turns Williams and then crashes his shot off the top of the Thistle crossbar. The ball goes over for a goal kick.
Queen's are taking a more physical approach to stopping Fitzpatrick who looks on with frustration for the second time when a whistle for a foul on him doesn't come.
Sneddon makes himself a bit target to beat and does well to block Hepburn's shot.
Queen's break in numbers but Spong's shot is nowhere near the Thistle goal.
Thistle win a free kick wide on the right, midway inside the Queen's half.
Nearly a sensational goal for Thistle and Neilson. He carries the ball deep into the Queen's half, exchanges passes with Graham but sees his shot blocked.
Graham is just inches away from a 4th Thistle goal with a shot on the turn at the edge of the box. Thistle look in the mood for more goals at the moment.
Thomas picks up a poor header from the otherwise very solid Williams. His shot though drifts well wide of Sneddon's right hand post.
It's a decent free kick too, but Thistle clear.
Queen's win a free kick wide on the left and will have a chance to get the ball into the Thistle box.
That goal should have Thistle well on course for a place in the next round. It's all very easy as well as Thistle open up the Queen's defence down the left with Fitzpatrick's, him again, low angled shot finding the corner of the net.
Back underway. No changes from Thistle at the break.
A little slow to get going, Thistle took a grip of the first half from around the 20 mark onwards and lead by two at the break. A stunning goal from Blair Alston and a thumping header from Aidan Fitzpatrick who has tormented Queen's throughout the half.
Thistle might have been slow starting the game but they are motoring now. And it's a richly deserved goal for Aidan Fitzpatrick. He meets a Lawless chipped cross and bullets a header into the back of the net.
Fitzpatrick once again causes all kind of problems for the Queen's defence who can't handle his pace and direct running. Ferrie though is able to intercept his cross.
I didn't think that Alston's goal against Morton last time out would be bettered but it just has. By Blair Alston. He finds the net with a great shot that loops over Ferrie and finds the top corner of the net.
A Fox header from Spong's corner goes wide, but is a little too close for comfort.
How Thistle aren't in front is a mystery. Well not quite a mystery. It's down to a great save from Ferrie, who denies Stanway. Then McMillan and then Stanway again.
Fitzpatrick again has the Queen's defence on the back foot but his cross is blocked.
Stanway pushes a pass inside to Lawless who tries a shot from distance. He doesn't make clean contact though and the shot goes wide.
Williams get his head to Lawless' corner but the ball flies wide of goal. The last 5 minutes or so have been Thistle's best spell in the game so far.
The ball breaks to Graham at the corner of the 6 yard box but his shot is blocked by Ferrie. The flag is up for offside against the Thistle captain in any case.
Fitzpatrick looks like Thistle's most dangerous player. He picks up a Lawless pass and simply has too much pace for Bannon. His low drilled cross though goes behind the Thistle players in the box and a good chance comes to nothing.
That's another really good opportunity for Queen's. Thomas does well to find McKinstry to his left. McKinstry looks to be caught in two minds between shooting and crossing and ends up doing neither really. The ball drifting harmlessly away from goal.
Fitzpatrick and Lawless work a short corner that just doesn't work.
First real attacking thrust from Thistle. Fitzpatrick powers in from the left but stumbles just a little as he shapes to shoot allowing the ball to be cleared for a corner.
That's a great cross whipped over from the Queen's right. McKinstry can't quite manage to get on the end of it though at the back post.
Good, the sun has dipped behind a cloud. I can see. The game hasn't got any better though.
Good chance for Queen's. Turner has far too much space for a header inside the Thistle box but he can't get any power to his header and Sneddon makes an easy save.
Muirhead has to get across quickly to clear a dangerous cross in to the box.
The low winter sun is making visibility difficult back in the press box. It's doubtful that it's prevented me from missing any action. The first 5 minutes have been as lowkey as they come.
Queen's Park get the game underway. Thistle shooting towards The John Lambie Stand in the first half.
Dreams of Scottish Cup glory begin this afternoon as Thistle and Queen's Park battle out a Third Round tie.
Blair Alston makes his first Thistle start and Jack McMillan makes his first start since coming back from injury.
The injured duo of Harry Milne and Kerr McInroy missing out.
It's a cold day but the Firhill pitch covers, rather than the undersoil heating, have ensured that the playing surface is in excellent condition.
Nearly a 100 years have passed since Thistle last graced a Scottish Cup Final. Maybe, just maybe, this will be the season.
