Defeat for Thistle leaves them looking for their first win, and goal, of the league season. 

A first half penalty is enough to win it for Raith Rovers. 

Thistle finish with 10 men after Scott Robinson in sent off. 

Milne clears inside his own 6 yard box.

As it turns out Ashcroft isn't able to continue. 

Ashcroft and Montagu collide and the Thistle player will need some treatment. He'll need to go off too once treated leaving Thistle with just 9, albeit temporarily. 

We've reached the 90 minute mark and it is Raith throw inside the Thistle half.

Thistle are still in the game, but only just as the ball crashes off Roberts' crossbar. 

Thistle can't make anything from the corner. 

Diack picks up the ball near the halfway line, drives forward and sees his shot saved by Dabrowski. 

The corner is cleared and Raith try and break. 

Diack's cross goes just behind Graham. 

Robinson is sent off after his late challenge on Connolly at the halfway line. In truth he can't have any complaints about that. 

Milne cuts inside to the edge of the box but Dabrowski is down quickly to save his right foot effort. 

Fitzpatrick's shot is pushed away by Dabrowski with the ball spinning away from Graham as he looked to pounce. 

Graham looks to be caught by an elbow or an arm but there is no free kick. Graham is okay to continue without treatment. 

The free kick is clipped into the box. McBeth heads on and the flag goes up for offside. Thistle haven't really threatened from set pieces this afternoon. 

Wasiri is fouled winning Thistle a free kick in a dangerous position. 

Fitzpatrick has moved over to right, Turner to wide left as Thistle go two up top with Graham and Diack.

Fitzpatrick plays the ball up to the feet of Chalmers inside the Rovers box. Chalmers is quickly closed down and his shot is blocked. 

Rovers look for a corner after a Smith effort following a cross from the right goes wide. Thistle goal kick though. 

Break in play for a Raith player to receive some treatment. 

Graham manages to get a low shot on target but again it is an easy save for the home keeper to make. 

Graham twists his head to reach Turner's free kick. He is able to direct his header towards the bottom corner but in truth it is a comfortable save for Dabrowski to make.

Back underway. No changes from either side. 

Thistle were the better side for much of the first half but find themselves trailing to an Easton penalty. 

Mullin shoots across the face of the Thistle goal. Rovers pick the ball up again and it is crossed for Smith who heads towards goal only for Roberts to make a comfortable save. 

Dabrowski claims Turner's free kick at his back post. He spills the ball but quickly recovers. 

Milne is fouled and Thistle will get a chance to load the Raith box. 

Turner's corner can't find a Thistle head. Chalmers picks the ball up on the left and tries to keep Thistle on the attack but is penalised for a foul/ 

Dabrowski gets a hand to a Graham shot to touch the ball over the bar. 

Gibson shifts the ball away from Wasiri giving him space just outside the Thistle box. His shot is always on the rise though and is no threat to the Thistle goal. 

Chalmers stabs just wide as Thistle look to make an immediate response. Thistle demand a corner but play restarts with a goal kick. 

Easton rolls the penalty to the Roberts' left to put the home side ahead. 

Rovers enjoy the break of the ball inside the Thistle box, a clearance spinning back towards goal. Wasiri gets into a fankle with a Rovers player and the referee points to the spot. 

Milne heads Stanton's corner clear from the edge of the 6 yard box. 

Graham is penalised for a high foot halting a promising looking Thistle attack. 

Mullin's free kick is easily dealt with and Thistle try and get on the attack again. 

The assistant flags and Raith have a free kick midway inside the Thistle half on the right hand side. 

Raith's first corner goes to the back post. It's headed back towards goal where Gibson swivels and shoots but the ball rolls wide of the Thistle goal. 

The corner is cleared as far as Chalmers lurking outside the box. He snatches at his shot and the ball is blocked. Thistle remain on the attack though but are unable to create a clear opening in front of goal. 

Turner floats the corner into the box where it is headed clear. Thistle much the better side in the opening 15 minutes. 

Turner is waved back onto the pitch and looks fine. 

Break in play with Turner needing a spot of treatment. 

Wasiri clips in a good pass from the right. Robinson's touch though is a shade too heavy and Dabrowski collects. Bright opening from Thistle. 

Turner's corner is poor and is cleared. 

A dipping volley from Graham goes just inches wide of the home goal.

The Thistle starting eleven is unchanged for this afternoon's fixture with Raith Rovers.
