Supporters’ Buses
Supporters should note than there will be no supporters’ buses running for Saturday’s short trip to Hampden Park.
They will return next week as we travel to face Dunfermline Athletic at East End Park.

Logan Chalmers goal in the 14th minute is the only goal of an entertaining game of football with Thistle claiming their second win on the trot.
Thistle throw deep inside the Queen's half.
Chalmers intercepts before being fouled winning Thistle a free kick and easing that pressure just a little.

It's a great free kick from Chalmers that finds McBeth. He's a fraction offside though as he heads just past.

Crawford bravely goes into a challenge with Longridge. He earns Thistle a free kick but picks up a knock in the process. Both players need a spot of treatment and we have a break in play.
A great pass finds Chalmers at the right hand side of the Queen's box and his effort with the outside of his foot clips the bar on the way over.
The offside flag denies Graham a goal as he bullets a Milne cross into the back of the net. I'll be interested to see this one back.
Thistle's chance to come close as Milne's effort is pushed away by Ferrie.
Megwa hacks the corner clear before Roberts claims Kerr's high ball into the box.
Roberts makes a great save to deny Tizzard.
Thistle again deal with the initial corner but the ball is sent back into the box and Duncan stoops to head with Roberts saving.
Milne heads clear MacGregor's corner. The ball is worked back out to MacGregor on the left and this time his crossed is stabbed over the bar by Welsh.
MacGregor takes the free kick that he won but gets right under the ball and sends it high over the Thistle crossbar.
Chalmers is judged to have fouled MacGregor and Queen's have a free kick just a few yards outside the Thistle box. and left of centre.
Chance for Thistle as Queen's look for offside but Bannigan's shot nis straight at Ferrie.
Thistle pass that test but only due to a smart save from Roberts low to his left that denies Turner.

Back underway. No changes from Thistle at the interval.

Duncan takes the free kick. It swirls in the wind a bit but it is still a routine catch for Roberts.
Milne fouls Duncan and Queen's have a free kick wide on the right and a chance to get the ball into the Thistle box.
Graham does really well to get the ball back to Milne. Milne gets the edge of the box but is shot is a foot or so too high.
Tizzard gets his head to the corner but the ball sails over the Thistle crossbar.

Good football from Thistle. Milne and Graham exchange passes. Graham then threads the ball through to Robinson. He takes the ball wide of Ferrie but the angle is shade too tight and Queen's scramble clear for a corner.
Thistle deal with the MacGregor corner but they are being pinned back at present with the bulk of the game played in the Thistle half.
Chalmers plays the corner short to Turner. His cross is cleared but Thistle remain on the attack until Queen's, with Turner down injured, try and catch Thistle on the counter attack.

A first Partick Thistle goal from Logan Chalmers puts Thistle in front. Milne does well to keep the ball in and head back towards goal. Ferrie and Graham challenge for the ball which drops perfectly into the path of Chalmers who fires home.
Bib, big chance for Queen's. Rudden is clear on goal but Roberts sticks out a leg to make a block and deny what looked a certain goal for the home side.
It's a decent free kick from Turner deep into the Queen's box but well defended.
