Amy Bulloch extends PTW stay

Partick Thistle WFC are pleased to announce the re-signing of Amy Bulloch for the duration of the 2024/25 season.

A talented and determined midfielder, Amy has been a key player for Brian Graham’s side ever since she announced herself on the Thistle scene with a stunning volley against Stirling University while on trial at the club.

That goal would go on to win the SWF Goal of the Season award and was the first of two that Bulloch would score in 12 games as the Jags finished third in SWPL2 in 2020/21.

Amy’s first full campaign with the club, which came in the top flight, saw her make 28 appearances all-in-all and score three goals including Thistle’s Goal of the Season which came against Hamilton Accies at Petershill Park.

In the subsequent two seasons, Bulloch has played 67 games as the team have achieved back-to-back top six finishes also deputising as vice-captain in the most recent campaign while Cheryl McCulloch has been sidelined by injury.

Having passed the 100-appearance mark recently, Amy will be back for more in 2024/25.

Amy Bulloch said:

“I’m delighted to be back at this club for another season. It’s a really special place to be and I’m looking forward to another season with the girls.

“It’s been great to be back in for pre-season, it’s been really tough but we know how hard we’ll have to work to try and progress on everything we achieved last season”

PTWFC manager Brian Graham said: “It’s great to have Amy sign on for another season. She’s been a big part of the team since she arrived and I think last season was probably her best season at the club.

“She’s not only grown on the field but off the field she’s become a real leader in the dressing room and slotted into that vice-captain role last season really well”
