Partick Thistle Women’s FC recruiting for goalkeeper coach

Partick Thistle Women’s FC is currently accepting applications for the vacant Goalkeeping Coach position.

The exciting role would see the successful applicant working with PTWFC manager Brian Graham, Assistant Manager Ross Stormonth and the PTW squad who have excelled within SWPL1 securing consecutive top six finishes amongst the elite in the Scottish women’s game.

The part-time position would require attendance to three midweek evening training sessions based at Petershill Park and to matchday on Sundays.

Role: Part-time, Goalkeeping Coach working under direction from the Manager, Assistant Manager, chairman and committee of Partick Thistle Women’s FC

Package: To be agreed depending on experience and qualifications

Location(s): Based at Petershill Park.

Days/times: Three midweek training sessions and Sunday match cover

The successful applicant will be an exceptional individual who:

• Is dynamic, self-motivated and good at communicating;
• Has a record of accomplishments within the women’s or men’s game or both;
• Has the passion to develop our current players and attract new players to the club;
• Can work alongside PT Women’s Manager and Assistant Manager to build stronger relationships with PT Women’s pathway club, Drumchapel United;
• Is experienced in being part of a management team coaching a successful football squad;
• Is prepared to proactively promote the consistent application of the Partick Thistle Women’s FC’s vision, values and beliefs;
• Has a confident and vibrant personality;
• Has the ability to be able to affect change in individual players and the team.

Essential:

• Holder of the 1.3 goalkeeping award.
• Experience of working with both young and experienced players.
• Strong leadership and organisational skill.
• PVG Scheme membership. If this is not currently held, the successful applicant will be required to have it.

Desirable:

• Sports First Aid or equivalent qualification.
• Current driving licence with access to a car.

Start date for post would be negotiable.
