Partick Thistle FC is undertaking renewed efforts to engage with the city’s universities and colleges to attract more of Glasgow’s student population to follow the Jags.
As part of this campaign, we are presently looking to recruit any students, staff members and / or alumni from within the ranks of our own support base to help form new Student Liaison Teams. The intention would be for the teams to help support ongoing collaboration with students at these universities and colleges – as well as collaboration with the establishments themselves on a more formal footing.
The institutions we are particularly keen to engage with are the University of Glasgow, University of Strathclyde, Glasgow Caledonian University, Clyde College (Langside, Anniesland, Cardonald), Kelvin College (Springburn, East End, Easterhouse) and City of Glasgow (Riverside, Cathedral St).
This list is not exhaustive, and so the club would be delighted to hear from anyone related to any other further or higher education institutions who would be interested in similar partnerships with the club.
