Partick Thistle are delighted to announce that Glasgow Taxis has extended its sponsorship of the club’s men’s team and added a new, standalone sponsorship of the Thistle women’s team.
A longstanding supporter of the Jags men’s team going back to season 2019/20, Glasgow Taxis is now backing Brian Graham’s PTWFC side following their success in recent seasons, with back-to back top six finishes and a national cup final appearance.
The new sponsorship mirrors Glasgow Taxis’ backing of the men’s team, with the Glasgow Taxis logo also featuring on men’s team training tops. The hugely popular red and yellow Thistle Taxi continues to assist Jags supporters prior to home fixtures at the Wyre Stadium at Firhill, which has become a staple of the Maryhill matchday.
Levi Gill, Partick Thistle general manager, said: “We’re very grateful for the continued support of Glasgow Taxis, adding valuable backing to the women’s team at the same time as they enter a sixth season supporting the men’s team. Not only do these partnerships bring welcome revenue to both teams, but just as importantly Glasgow Taxis are an organisation who align with our values as a community club, evident through the support they provide throughout the year such as on matchdays assisting supporters and also volunteering to help with Partick Thistle Charitable Trust projects.

The new women’s team training kit sponsorship will see the Glasgow Taxis logo take pride of place on PTWFC training tops this season, with additional benefits for Glasgow Taxis including two pitch side advertising boards at home game and logo on the team’s interview backdrop.
