Allan has been the groundsman at Firhill for six years, including when Thistle shared the stadium with Glasgow Warriors, an arrangement that made his job particularly challenging. Formerly on the grounds team at Murray Park, Allan has more than 16 years of experience as a groundsman and played an integral part in the complete relaying of the pitch in 2016.
