With Premiership safety secured for another season, the contract extensions continue to come for Alan Archibald. We’ve already brought news of Abdul Osman penning a new deal with the club and we’re pleased to announce a second re-signing today.
The club is delighted to announce that David Amoo has extended his stay at Firhill until the end of the 2016/17 season.
David, who joined the club from Carlisle United last summer, has made a strong impact in Alan Archibald’s side featuring 39 for the first team this season. David’s pacey play has provided a dangerous goal threat for Thistle and he has proven to have a knack of being in the right place at the right time, illustrated by the five goals that he has scored for the club.
The most memorable of his strikes, a 65 yard solo effort against St Johnstone, earned him a nomination for the club’s Goal of the Season competition.
We look forward to seeing more of David in a Thistle jersey next season and hopefully, he’ll be able to bag another Goal of the Season contender for us all to enjoy during the course of the next campaign.
