Thistle return to the Energy Check Stadium at Firhill tomorrow afternoon for another big Ladbrokes Premiership fixture against Aberdeen. In tomorrow’s match programme co-editor, Christopher Dobie, spoke with Jags number three Callum Booth as he spoke about returning to fitness after a lengthy spell on the sidelines earlier this campaign.
“The support I’ve had has been amazing and I think that’s helped me get back to playing earlier than I might have otherwise. We have so many people here to help out the players like the sport science team and that’s something that has been improving year-on-year. The club is in a constant state of growth in that respect and you can see that in a few different ways.
“For example, the training complex that’s coming round in the next few years. When I arrived at the club, there were some days when I’d turn up at the stadium get changed and then be told where we were training and I’d have to drive out to get there and it disrupted things a bit but even now, we have a training centre for the summer and one for the winter and we know where we’re going to be. Even in the offices, the club is making everything more streamlined and the players know that it up to us to keep the club in the Premiership so we can operate at full potential.”
