Tomorrow’s match programme against Motherwell

Motherwell are the visitors to the Energy Check Stadium at Firhill tomorrow night as Thistle bring down the curtain on their scheduled home Ladbrokes Premiership fixtures. It has been another year of landmarks for Thistle number nine, Kris Doolan and he spoke about his latest achievement, becoming the first Partick Thistle player to score 100 league goals for the club, with co-editor Graham McRoberts in tomorrow’s match programme.

“I don’t think you get fed up talking about breaking records. There are still plenty of records out there to be broken and I’ve got my sights set on plenty at the moment.

“I set out at the start of the season to get 100 league goals again simply because it is ticking off another milestone. To do it on such a fashion on John Lambie Day with a game that was surrounded by a bit of emotion with the fans turning out to pay tribute to John Lambie. To score a goal of significance really in a game like that made it even more special.”
