Partick Thistle can today confirm that Mohamed ‘Sena’ Niang has officially joined the Club signing a deal initially until January – he will then sign up for two years as one of the Club’s Modern Apprentices – to play in Scott MacKenzie’s reserve squad.
Mohamed, who is more commonly known as Sena, has already featured a number of times as a trialist for the reserves both this season and last. Following a lengthy and complicated work permit application process he will be eligible to feature for the first time as a signed player when MacKenzie’s side face St Mirren on Monday.
Sena graduated from the Pollok United Soccer Academy in the summer of 2017 after having captained the U19s the previous season. He made nine first team appearances for The Lok this term, scoring once.
Everyone at Partick Thistle Football Club wishes Sena well as he is finally able to officially start his Partick Thistle career.
