Partick Thistle Football Club currently has a vacancy for a Crowd Doctor position to join the operations team and provide match day medical cover at The Energy Check Stadium at Firhill.
The Crowd Doctor will report to the Chief Executive and work alongside the Safety Officer and St Andrew’s First Aid staff.
Duties will include, but are not limited to;
The ideal applicant will have experience as an event doctor and be fully conversant with the duties involved. The candidate must currently be registered with the GMC in pre-hospital (immediate) care and major incident management, and it is important for the successful applicant to possess suitable medical indemnity insurance. Completion of the Immediate Medical Care “Crowd Doctor” course by the Faculty of Pre-hospital Care (Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh), or an equivalent, would also be desirable.
The role requires flexibility on Saturdays and midweek evenings for attendance at all first team home fixtures to be covered i.e. 18 league games plus cup and friendly matches. The position will command a match fee, plus one season ticket and assistance with CPD. The successful candidate will be subject to a PVG Disclosure check.
