Thistle return to winning ways with a thumping 5-0 win on their travels at Cove Rangers.
First half strikes from Scott Tiffoney and Steven Lawless are followed by second half strikes from Brian Graham, Kevin Holt and Danny Mullen.
Five different scorers, a clean sheet and three points on the road. An excellent day's work.
Into injury time.
It's a fifth for Thistle. MacKenzie crosses from the left and a fantastic header from Mullen finds the back of the net.
There's a chance for MacKenzie but he can't get enough on his shot or direct it far enough away from Fox to find the net.
A Fitzpatrick shot doesn't really trouble Fox.
O'Halloran's deflected shot looks to be going in but rolls just inches past the post.
Bannigan knocks the ball out of play so that Docherty can get some treatment but the Thistle captain is able to play on without a visit from the physio.
MacKenzie can't quite bundle a Fitzpatrick cross over the line.
Crowd: 1,044
Quickfire double for Thistle. Turner's excellent free kick finds a willing taker in Kevin Holt who glances a header beyond Fox.
That should seal the Thistle win and end any hopes of a Cove comeback. Tiffoney finds Graham to his right. Graham cuts inside the box and Graham's shot, via a deflection from Naismith, finds the net.
Better from Thistle but it is a comfortable save for Fox from Lawless.
Cove are looking increasingly dangerous and McMillan has to nick the ball away from goal.
Graham twice heads the ball out of the box before it eventually goes behind for a goal kick.
Cove have a free kick just outside the Thistle box ion the left in line with the penalty spot.
Docherty heads clear at the front post.
Scully hooks the ball towards goal but Mitchell is there to save. Good spell from Cove.
Holt is forced to clear from inside the 6 yard box.
Muirhead tries to get a flick to Turner's corner.
Early second half effort from Turner but it is straight at Fox.
A good first half performance sees Thistle take a two goal lead into the dressing room at the interval thanks to goals from Scott Tiffoney and Steven Lawless.
The lead could even have been greater but equally there have been Cove chances at the other end.
There was a blow for Thistle just before half-time with Lee Hodson having to come off injured.
Into first half injury time.
Holt has gone to left back to replace Hodson with Brownlie dropping in at centre back.
Turner sees a shot from just outside the box go narrowly wide.
Hodson isn't able to continue.
A Turner cross is just a shade too high for Holt at the back post.
Despite being a player short Thistle still threaten the Cove goal from Turner's corner.
Break in play before the corner can be taken as Hodson receives treatment.
Fox gets down low to touch a Tiffoney shot round the post.
Mitchell makes a confident catch from Longstaff's corner and immediately tries to launch a Thistle counter attack.
Holt makes a run to try and meet Turner's corner but the ball is headed clear before he can get to it.
Fox has to push a Graham shot round the post.
Lawless is close to his second of the afternoon as Fox does well to claw his header from a Hodson cross away from goal.
We nearly have another goal but this time it is Cove that are close to scoring as sub Dunne sees a shot strike the bottom of Mitchell's left hand post.
Nearly a third as Turner sees his header cleared off the line. A superb dummy from Lawless gives McMillan a chance. His shot is blocked by Fox and spins to Turner who is really unlucky not to find the back of the net.
A Scully shot is straight at Mitchell who saves with ease.
Megginson drags a shot wide of the Thistle goal as the home side look to try and find a route back into this game. Thistle look in the mood for more goals though.
McIntosh tries to force himself into the Thistle box but his touch is heavy allowing Mitchell to come off his line and claim the ball.
The build up to the second goal starts with a McMillan cross that Cove initially partly clear. Docherty lofts the ball back towards goal and when Fox can't cleanly claim the ball it falls to Lawless who knocks it home from about 12 yards out.
There had been some promising signs and those promising signs are translated into a Thistle goal. It's Graham with the pass that sets up Tiffoney. His pace gets him away from the defence and his composed finish across Fox finds the bottom corner.
A Tiffoney shot at the edge of the Cove box is blocked as Thistle are start to be seen as an attacking force for the first time in the game.
McMillan gets a good cross over from the right but Turner's touch is poor and any hint of a Thistle chance is lost.
Cove miss a great chance to take an early lead. A simple ball over the top puts McIntosh clear on goal but Mitchell makes himself a big target to beat and blocks his shot. The ball spins to Longstaff but he sends his effort wide of target.
With just six games of the regular season remaining three points are essential for Thistle this afternoon to keep their promotion challenge on track.
Kris Doolan's team selection to face Cove Rangers on a cold April afternoon shows two changes from the side that went down to defeat at Inverness.
Injury has brought a premature end to Harry Milne's season and Lee Hodson comes in to replace him at left back.
In better news injury wise Aaron Muirhead is fit enough to return to the starring eleven and he replaces Darren Brownlie in the heart of the Thistle defence.
