Milne's effort smacks off the wall. He gets the ball back and this time sends a cross across the face of goal.

The fingertips of Lyness rescue Hamilton as he claws away Crwaford's shot. 

The 90 minutes have come and gone. 

Hamilton clear and break and O'Hara nearly seals the win but his shot nis inches too high. 

Time running out on Thistle to salvage something from a poor performance. 

A Muirhead long throw is flicked on but Lyness gathers under a bit of pressure.

We're into the final ten minutes. Thistle not looking like scoring. 

We have a break in play for Lyness to be treated. It looks as if will be Thistle though to make the next change. 

Fitzpatrick again with the corner. It goes into a good area but is well defended. 

There's more urgency from Thistle but not the quality to go with it. 

Fitzpatrick with this corner which is headed clear. 

This time the final touch comes from O'Reilly and it is a goal kick. 

Fitzpatrick's run nearly creates aa chance but Thistle have to settle for a corner. 

A Turner effort from the edge of the box is about a foot too high. 

It's a poor corner although Thistle do, briefly, remain on the attack. 

Graham's shot is turned round the post for a corner. 

Thistle go behind. Smith clips the free kick into the box and Kilday's header beats Roberts. 

Hamilton free kick about 10 yards outside the Thistle box, right of centre. McBeth requires some treatment before the free kick can be taken and his afternoon looks to be over. 

Martin's low shot is saved at his front post by Roberts. 

No further Thistle changes ahead of the second half. 

Uneventful would be a fair description of the first half. 

Lyness has a couple of decent saves while Roberts makes one very good stop to deny Smith otherwise there has been little to enthuse over.

O'Hara has a hit from outside the Thistle box with his shot going wide of Roberts' right hand post. 

Milne's low cross squirms out of Lyness' grasp but squirms clear.

Thistle free kick about 35 yards from the Hamilton goal. Shade too far for a direct effort but a chance to get players into the box. 

The corner, the first of the game, comes to nothing. 

Lyness does well to keep out Stanway's effort. 

Big save from Roberts who keeps out a Smith effort after the Hamilton gets the better of Muirhead when he really shouldn't have done. 

It's a well defended free kick as Milne heads clear at the corner of the box. Hamilton with a throw though. 

Hamilton have a free kick midway inside the Thistle half. But not before both McBeth and Shaw receive some treatment. Both will be off the pitch when the free kick is taken. 

First effort on goal from Thistle. Turner's shot from the edge of the box takes a deflection and Lyness is pressed to push the ball away low at his right hand post. 

It's certainly Hamilton that are on top at the moment. Henderson has a shot from outside the box that dips just a shade too late and goes over the bar. 

Thistle have seen very little of the ball in the last few minutes as Hamilton make pass after pass but with little impact. It's not been a great watch so far. 

First chance of the game comes the way of the home side. Smith gets beyond Milne and delivers a cross to the back post. The ball is touched back to Henderson who shoots wide of the near post. 

Thistle have seen more of the ball than Hamilton in the opening stages but no chances at either end yet.
