Thistle collect the bonus point with a 5-4 success in the penalty shoot out after a 1-1 draw in the 90 minutes.
Turner scores and secures the bonus point for Thistle.
Taylor scores for Killie 4-4.
Docherty scores for Thistle. Thistle lead 4-3.
Murray sends his effort high over the bar. 3-3
McInroy scores for Killie. Graham lashes home for Thistle 3-3.
Polworth scores for Killie and Holt does the same for Thistle 2-2.
Shaw for Killie and Muiread for Thistle both score 1-1.
There will be a minimum of three additional minutes to be played.
It's Killie that are doing the late pressing but they waste possession of the ball with a poor pass into the box that goes out for aa goal kick.
Shaw has the ball in the net for Killie but this time the offside flag saves Thistle.
Docherty lays the ball into the path of Weston. Weston sees his moment of glory and shoots for goal but leans back and sends the ball high over the bar much to the annoyance of Graham inside to his left.
It's a rare Killie attack but Polworth can find no takers for his cross across the face of the Thistle goal from the Killie right hand side.
Taylor gets a little too much space as the Killie corner comes over but his header drops wide of goal.
The referee spots an infringement at the second of two quick Thistle corners and Killie have a free kick.
Great chance for Thistle as Milne heads the ball on for Docherty whose header though firm is wide of goal.
Hemming can't cleanly take a low cross from Milne as Thistle grow in confidence and right now look the more likely side to score.
That's a good chance for Thistle as Graham nods the ball on but Smith sends his header over the bar.
Crowd: 3,012 with 359 travelling Thistle fans.
Milne takes the free kick but it goes high over the bar.
Turner is fouled about 30 yards out but in a central position. Milne is over the ball.
Lawless bundles a Turner cross into the back of the net but the flag is up for offside halting Thistle's celebrations.
Thistle get things back underway. Shooting towards the Thistle fans in the second half.
We're level at the break with Aaron Muirhead's stunning goal just two minutes before the break cancelling out Killie's early opener from Liam Donnelly.
Thistle are level and that's a goal well worth watching the highlights for. A Turner free kick into the Killie box is only cleared as far as Muirhead who unleashes a cracker that leaves Hemming with no chance.
Mitchell has to make a good stop to deny Armstrong who is given a clean sight of goal after Thistle fail to clear a cross into the box.
A Milne cross is flicked away from Graham as Thistle continue to search for an equaliser.
Milne is able to side step the attentions of a Killie defender and advance into the box but his cross from a tight angle is blocked.
Thistle are close to quickfire equaliser. Muirhead finds Graham to his right and not only does Hemming make a good stop he gets a strong enough of hand to the ball to divert it well away from any lurking Thistle player.
It's a poor goal for Thistle to lose. Murray delivers the corner into a good area but there isn't enough of a challenge to Donnelly's header that finds the back of the net.
It's Turner that has the first effort on either goal but Hemming is well placed to save Turner's well struck effort from a yard or so outside the box.
It's a poor corner from Turner that is headed clear at the corner of the 6 yard box.
The home side get the game underway. Thistle are defending the 'away' end goal in the first half.
The Thistle starting eleven for this evening's Premier Sports Cup match with Kilmarnock shows two changes from the side that started the season with a win at Stenhousemuir on Saturday.
As expected manager Ian McCall has rotated the goalkeepers with David Mitchell starting this game with the other change seeing Harry Milne come in to make his Partick Thistle debut with Tunji Akinola dropping to the bench.
Alongside Tunji on the bench are the trio of new signings made earlier this week namely Cole McKinnon and Aiden Fitzpatrick, both of whom came in today, as well as Tony Weston who completed his loan move from Rangers yesterday.
