Turnbull is denied by Stevenson after a free header at the back post.

Stevenson is fouled as a few players challenge for the ball as it ends up in the back of the net. The Jags goalkeeper wins a free kick.

Hastie cuts in from the wide areas again. He cuts it back to Scott who fires over the bar from close range

Another goalline clearance as Motherwell get into the Jags box again and a cut back is denied by a Thistle attacker

After lengthy treatment Granger is fit to continue

Granger goes for the delivery and is smashed by the goalkeeper as they challenge. It looks clean but the assistant referee waves violently for a Motherwell free kick as Granger needs medical treatment

Wilson just runs out of space as he gets on the end of a Fleming pass.

Granger finds Stokes with a free kick but the ball just doesn't drop for James to shoot on goal.

Livingstone gets on the end of the cut back but balloons his effort high over the stand and out into the car park

A Motherwell free kick from wide is touched onto the bar by Stevenson before Thistle clear.

Gordon gets on the end of a cross but his header loops over the bar. 

A coming together in the box has Motherwell screaming for a penalty as Gordon tumbles. Brown doesn't wait for a decision and fizzes a shot inches wide. 

Higgins disposses Krones to the ball and fires a shot from inside the box. It was a good save from Morrison to deny the attacker

Scott and Gordon get in each others way at the back post after Bowers fires over a deep cross. 

A good delivery is headed goalwards but Kelly is in the right place to knock it away from the goal line

it's a deep cross. Livingstone meets it and hits the bar. It bounces down and across goal. A Thistle body tries to clear the ball, but smashes his clearance off the bar before a third shot from the corner of the box is cleared off the line. Motherwell win a free kick wide of the penalty box. 

It's a poor corner and drills right out for a goal kick

It's a great save from Stevenson after Livingstone hits a fierce effort towards goal. 

Watt flashes a shot across goal from 20 yards 

Agyeman delays his shot and is forced wide. It's blocked and cleared by the Jags defence.

Fitzpatrick sends forward a free kick which is met by Higgins. He heads it down across goal but a Motherwell defender gets to it first and clears.

Livingstone lashes the ball high into the net from close range after a fortunate bounce of the ball saw the ball break to him at the back post.

Livingstone advances forward down the left hand side before drifting inside the pitch. His right footed shot is blocked by a Jags block

A thunderous low cross is dealt with well by Kelly and the threat is partially cleared.

Agyeman has the ball in the net but the flag went up for offside a lot earlier.

Agyeman cuts the ball back to Scott who slides a low shot towards goal. It hits the woodwork and rolls into the grateful arms of Stevenson

A bouncing ball inside the Jags penalty box falls to Brown but Stevenson grabs his shot at the second attempt.

A deep cross falls to Watt who fires a shot into the side netting from the edge of the box.

As the ball breaks to the edge of the box, Turnbull rasps a shot just past the far post.
